1. Instant vs. limit: What’s the difference?

– Instant mode lets you immediately convert your assets at the best available market rate. The quoted price is locked in at the moment of confirmation.

– Limit mode allows you to specify the price you’re willing to accept. Your conversion will only be executed when the real-time quote reaches or surpasses your set price.

⚠️ Please note that the execution of limit orders depends on several factors, including your limit price, market depth and real-time liquidity. Even if the charted price hits your target, your order may not fill unless an actual matching quote is available.

2. How do I place a limit order on Convert?

– Select Limit Order as your order type and choose your Funding Account (only Funding Accounts are supported for limit orders).

– Select the asset you want to convert and the asset you want to receive.

– Enter the amount to convert and set your desired quote price.

– Review the details and click Confirm Transaction.

– Monitor your order in the Conversion History tab. To cancel, click Cancel next to the order.

Note: Limit orders are valid for 30 days. The corresponding assets are locked until the order is filled or expires. If unfilled after 30 days, the order will be automatically canceled.
